All our food is locally sourced and freshly prepared to order with Trenchmore farm meat featured heavily on our menus. We now feature regular fresh fish, with fresh fish delivered straight from Brighton along with our new Vegan menu of the week.  From traditional pub favourites to more exotic dishes, our chefs will provide a changing list of seasonal dishes to keep you coming back for more. Private parties, Weddings, functions and Christmas parties can be catered for. We can also cater for special dietary requirements and allergies. A children’s menu is available.

Food & Wine Pairing Evenings

Working with our wine supplier, our head chef has introduced regular ‘Taste of’ evenings, pairing food and wines from around the world. These evenings take place every 3rd Thursday of each month and have proved to be very a popular event. With places limited to a maximum of 40 people it pays to book early. Our Award Winning Wine Selection

winemenuWe work closely with a local independent wine supplier to create a comprehensive list of quality wines from all over the world at reasonable prices. Our range of still and sparkling wines also includes a comprehensive selection from local award winning estates such as the amazing Blanc de Blanc from the Albourne estate within a stone’s throw of The New Inn.

We have an extensive gin & spirits list and support all of our local producers including an impressive array of juices and ciders from both Wobblegate (Bolney) & Trenchmore farm (Cowfold). See our current drinks menu for full details.
