Front Bar
Although the centre of the pub was built in the 1400's as an original timber framed Wealden hall house, the Georgian frontage was added much later, sadly there is no documentation recording the date other than some time during the Georgian period (1714 - 1830). You can see evidence of the Tudor beams as you walk through the bar and down the entrance corridor.
The front bar has recently been sympathetically re furbished and we have a huge range of draft beers, wines, spirits and soft and 0 options for you to choose from. The bar takes on a different role in the winter when it becomes a warm cosy hub for regulars and visitors to enjoy.
